I would definitely like a feature for MC similar to portable devices--Only keep files selected to add.  I would like MC to ONLY keep files in its database that are located in auto-import folders.  I get annoyed when I find stray entries so if it would only allow files from auto-import folders, that would be great!  Also, when a auto-import folder is removed or its file extensions are changed, all non-matching files should be REMOVED.
