Start by playing current playlist not working

I have this option turned on.  I tried to test it by closing Media Center with a playlist loaded and playing.  When I restart, there is nothing in Playing Now?  The playlist contains an internet radio stream - I don't know if this makes a difference?  Thanks.

Could you, by any chance, have also checked the "Clear Playing Now on Exit" option?
