Tracking Episodes in DVDs

Does anyone else have a working system for tracking episodes in DVDs for television show DVDs?  I created a new field called "Episodes" that is a list and am working on putting all the episodes in.  What I'd really like is to have each episode have MC start right at the episode.  That would be really handy.  So can "pointers" be created?
