refreshing keywords in images from IPTC tags
« on: January 15, 2008, 03:23:33 am »

I tag my pictures mostly in Photoshop Elements (because of its face tagging functionality). However, I browse my pictures with Media Center. I noticed that when I change tags on a picture the new tags are not visible in Media Center (I tried an 'update library from tags' but that didn't help).
Is there any way to refresh the keywords from the IPTC tags in image files?

You have to force Elements to update the tags in the file. In pse: File > Write keywords to tags. Then in mc: library tools > update tags from files.

Does photoshop elements write the face tagging to the "People" tag?
