In playback option use Disk writer instead Wave output or DirecSound and play the files that you want to convert, they will be converted into wave in the folder that you have specified

Go to Settings-->Options-->Playback and on it says output choose mode Disk writer instead of Waveout or Directsound then go to settings and choose the output path and finally play the files that you want to convert, they will be in format wav on the folder you choose.

I never tried but i think that RM or other real format is not decodable to encode in another format. that's the only settings you need, tried with another file if it works tried with rm

Search for DBPower,

They have a decoder for real format

But it is a real time conversion.Means that the conversion takes as long as the song is

I have a similar dilema.  I am trying to convert a wav into MP3.  but i am able to convert mp3s to waves, i never tried it with ra, or ram files, but heres how i do it:
1.select the files you wish to convert
2.under the TOOLS menu select CONVERT FORMAT...
3.select the CHANGE button and from the pulldown menu select UNCOMPRESSED WAVE
4.in the icon bar on the right select CONVERTER SETTINGS
5.select the MOVE TO LOCATION BOX, and choose a folder to save the new files to...

If you figure out how to convert to MP3, please let me know.
thanx.  leilooni@jps.net
