I just installed the latest update 8.0.345 and I am unable to burn a CD. I get a message that says "unable to find any CD-R/W devices on your system. I went to the CD writer settings and everything is grayed out. The writer is still recognized on MusicMatch and Media Player.

My settings are:

Media Jukebox PLUS 8.0.345
Install Path: C:\Program Files\J River\Media Jukebox\

CPU: Intel Pentium III 498 MHz MMX
Memory: Total - 130 MB, Free - 28 MB
Resource Info: System - 64 %, GDI - 76 %, User - 64 %
OS: Microsoft Windows 98 SE

Internet Explorer: 6.0.2600.0000
ComCtl32.dll: 5.50.4704.1100
Shlwapi.dll: 6.00.2600.0000
Shell32.dll: 4.72.3612.1700
wnaspi32.dll: Internal ASPI Layer


Help! I don't want to use MusicMatch!!!!!!

Is there a file called wnaspi32.dll in your Media Jukebox directory? If so, rename or delete it and then try re-running MJ.
Please let us know the results.

mine is gone also...tried deleting the dll did not work.
was working last build.

It does not look like you deleted the DLL.

wnaspi32.dll: Internal ASPI Layer message shows that the dll was found in the installation directory.

you may need to reboot, then try deleteing the ASPI

Yep, there sure was. I deleted it and everything is OK with the world!

i did delete it and it didn't work...system info is after I put it back in.  However, the same thing happened with the new build.  It appears twice in my system one in the windows file and in the jriver file.  Same thing happened with the new build took it out of the j River folder and it works now.....

I hope you can fix this.....shouldn't have to remove a dll everytime I install this fine program.
