MC in the system tray
« on: January 31, 2008, 07:34:35 am »

I always have MC minimized to the system tray.
What's confusing is MC is the only system tray icon I've got
which is opened by a single click rather than a double click.

I often end up double clicking it, which maximizes then instantly
minimizes MC.  Could some code be put into check if the icon was
double clicked on?

I like the single click! But it would be indeed amazing to be able to double click without having MC to appear and disappear instantly as I sometimes accidently do a double click, too.

I used to have this problem, until I broke the habit of double-clicking.
Now I'm pretty happy with the single click method, although having it in the settings for one's own choice is always best.
I love to have choices.

(cough! and choices would be great for double-clicking images from windows, to have them work the way a user would like them to. Cough!)

I've no problem with the single click, but I don't think it even
needs to be a choice.  Make double click and single click do the same thing.   :)

I have various icons in the system tray and they all behave differently. I always try a single click first if I'm not sure. Then I try a double click if nothing happens. If still nothing happens, I break stuff around the house until I calm down and then I plug in my mouse. That fixes everything.
