Today I Was Watching Gomer Pyle, USMC

Melvin played Staff Sergeant Charley Hacker for four seasons on Gomer Pyle, USMC.

Allan Melvin died of cancer on January 17, 2008, aged 84.

I remember him, Jim Neighbors too. Oddly enough, I was watching In & Out tonight, and the brother reminded me of Gomer Pyle...
