Completely removing panes, and one minor pain
« on: February 11, 2008, 10:36:20 pm »

How can I completely remove the pane? I would rather have extra space to look at my music files than a inch-wide blank spot. I've done it before, but after reformatting my hard drive, I can't remember how.

Also, is there a way to not see the "Upgrade" screen every time I boot up?

Thanks! I love the Jukebox!

Up to the MediaJukebox Version I know (12.0.026) there is no option to select the startup screen. In MediaCenter you will find it under "Tools -> Options -> Startup -> Location:xyz".

I think a double click on the divider should do the trick. To bring the pane back again: Just another double click on the divider.

No.  Upgrading helps us pay for providing a free player.

Thanks! It was so simple I feel silly that I couldn't figure it out. :D

Well, that makes sense. Too bad I'm a poor college student.  :P

It should only be one out of every three player starts.

You're welcome  :D

The startup location allways changes this way for me:
1st start: Update Page
2nd start: Start Location
3rd start: Amazon Page

I cannot set any other startup location and none of the locations would be my first choice:
1: I already own a MC license, so no update information needed for me,
3: I cannot use Amazon store, because I'm from Germany, and
2: I don't see the benefits of MCs startpage... for internet browsing I'm still using a browser ;)

I can see the reason for showing the update page and amazon store as well, but I'm not so sure if it is a good choice. There were quiet some users talking about that...

Wow, for some reason I thought i was the only one with this. Some of that stuff applies for me, too. There is no need for me to use the MC browser since I use Firefox, and Amazon just teases me and the $9 in my bank account.  :'(
