build 473 crashed
« on: April 18, 2008, 12:30:52 pm »

My MC build 473 crashed during some public event. Just like that, in the middle of song it disappeared from screen. Not good.

Thanks for reporting it.  Could you add any details?

Copy your system info from MC Help and paste it here.

Plug-ins running?  File types played?

I've also had 473 crashing on me the last few days... playing mp3s, crashed mid-song on a few occasions.  Then yesterday I re-booted the PC and tried to load MC and it crashed off the load (first time).  At that point, I turned everything off and played some records instead (ah, reliable old stuff.)

This morning I'm going to do a system restore (I recently accepted some XP updates and installed and then uninstalled a NAS driver) but if it keeps going I'll post a system config to see if you can spot something I cannot.
