"With the MH2H, a mobile phone equipped with a wireless LAN function acts as a virtual media server in the network in a user's friend's home, and transmits the content stored in the user's home via the Internet. The technology is based on the "DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance)," a standard to share content in a home network. "

DLNA is a superset of UPnP, which MC supports.

With XOHM and other Wi-Fi solutions being deployed in some cities now, I think this is a reality within a few years.

This is the most amazing thing I've seen since 1956, when I could first order a foot long hot dog and a chocolate malt over an intercom from a table at King's Restaurant.

Interesting.  I have ~350GB of music and spend a lot of time in europe and asia.  I'd love to have access to whatever I want wherever I want.  Right now it is only 120GB that gets to come with me on my ipod.
