Display Options' monitor setting sometimes wrong

I have an issue where I type CRTL-3 to change MC to Display View on a different monitor (Player -> Display Option -> Monitor). This usually works fine, but sometimes MC displays on the wrong monitor. I confirm that my monitors haven't suddenly rearranged themselves via the Control Panel -> Display settings. I believe this may happen after I wake up my PC after it has been in sleep mode.
