Search for library servers
« on: June 12, 2009, 05:32:38 am »

Media Center failed to load the library "Search for Library Servers" and will attempt to load the previously selected library.

This is what I get (in 2 pcs i have installed MC14.011) when I access the Library menu: File > Library > Search for Library servers.
Any ideas?

You can use Library Manager to add the server with an IP address.

I've seen this problem, too.

With the first preview version of MC14 release a few days ago the Search For Library Servers worked fine. Yesterday I installed the new 14.0.11 on the same two computers and it no longer worked. I also resorted to manually entering the IP address.

I have this problem in MC13 caused by multiple NICs, one physical and one virtual.

I haven't tried MC14 yet but maybe the issue still exists.
It was resolved by changing the NIC priority

I also have the problem where I get a failure when searching and have to specify an IP address to connect.  I hope this can be fixed.
