Sidecar auto import
« on: July 19, 2009, 04:10:34 pm »

It doesn't look like sidecar files for DVD (VIDEO_TS) files get updated on an auto import.  Do other people notice this?  I have to run update library from tags.  Can this be resolved so auto import notices these changes?

Thanks.

This thread covers the issue, still not resolved but I think (hope) it will be soon.

I thought this was a different issue until I just re-imported the files on my server and noticed no sidecar info--lol.  That confused me big time.  Thanks.

The problem I have with auto-importing ripped DVD's is that I get duplicates. Do you have this problem?

That is probably your problem.  I started not using VIDEO_TS folders but found an issue with not using them so I went through and added them to my 1,000 DVDs.  I used a macro program to help the process along.  Very repetitive.
