Menu item "View" with all the view schemes a good idea?
« on: September 04, 2009, 05:42:19 am »

In menu view at the beginning I find all my view schemes defined and then the "normal" view commands follow. As I created hierarchical views like (1)Albums - (2)2009 - (2)2008 - ... I have about 50 views. So, it's really hard to get to the regular view commands.

In my opinion this menu is extremely irritating especially as those commands do not appear always (I have not found out the rules behind that).

Proposal:
Why not just putting all those views in a second level. On top level under views there could be just one menu item like "Views" and on second level like for command "split view" I could scroll through all my views and select one.

I agree.

We'll see what we can do.
