Where does saved time shifting go?  I have it set to always save but I never see the items show up in MC.

Speaking of which, if I save my television to a folder, "Television," do I need to auto import this?  It appears that MC will add recordings it does on its own--but other systems would need to auto import this.

When I record something, it shows up under Recordings in theater view.  Never have I seen any time shifting show up there and I have it set to Always Save.  What am I doing wrong?

Saved time-shifting is not imported by auto-import.  You have to manually import them.

What is the purpose of saving time shifting, then?

Also, and more importantly, is the intended option list for the Record OSD option to have Record current hour, current two hours, etc.?  Why not have record current show?  Or is there a way to get it to show up?

It serves two purposes:

1. In case of a crash, you can pick up the saved file and finish watching it.
2. As you are using it, just save the show for later. 

You have to manually import the file, or manually find it and play it without importing, because importing saved time-shifting causes clutters.  The library would be filled with such imports when they are not needed, especially when user already chooses recording.

Yes, I wouldn't want the library to get cluttered up.  But I, just the same, don't want my disk drives to get cluttered.  I use MC essentially as an extension of my folder structure.  If and only if a file exists do I want it in MC--and if it exists, I want it in MC.

Why not add the ability to, while playing a channel, go back in time with rewind and just jump back through any available time-shifting?  Then it would be available without adding more entries.
