The program seems to have changed a little since the instructions were written.

I am using version 14 of your program.
I picked the option for MC2XML as the method to load program guide data.
I put in my zip code and didn't change anything else on the command prompt box that came up.
But the screen that says "Click in the XMLTV column below and select the appropriate  entry for each channel" is blank.

On your instructions page it shows there is supposed to be things listed there. I don't see these things and I can't press next.


I have computer that can record tv with the windows media center 2005, and has the remote.  I thought i would try this as something new and fun instead of buying windows 7.

Once in a while, something changes with mc2xml and you have to get a new copy of it.

Did you scan for channels?  Can you play channels by clicking on the numbers?

When that screen is shown, do you see a list of channels in the left column or do you really see nothing?  If you do not see channels, you probably have not scanned for available channels yet.  You should do that first.

Had the same issue, but solved that by looking closely at the parameters that mc2xml specifies on its web page: in the Netherlands, a zip code has 4 numbers and 2 letters, but mc2xml only wants the 4 numbers. After I removed the letters, it worked fine. Hope this helps someone.
