when in theaterview.. we have our libraries, and have connected, in connected there is hulu and utube.... now if im having a party and people are over and want to hear a song or watch a music video and they dont find it in my library,   what site are you guys using for instant access to a search to stream that song or music video... meaning i tried utube.... ya click on it and gives the basis stuff, most recent, top viewed etc.. so i went into utube to see if i could setup my page where it would bring me straight to a music category and allow a search box. so i could just enter the song name and it would then brings up all the titles, hit play on the one i want and it could stream it immediatelly for the party....but thats not possible..

Any site you guys can recommend that works like utube and has a huge database that we could click on to instantly search, find that song, and play it.

Have you tried the Performer Store in MC?  Even without a subscription, you can play 30 second samples of more than 5,000,000 tracks, and for 99 cents, you can buy most of them in MP3.

i just looked deeper into the jriver side of things and the utube under connected does have a search  so then i went into jriver theaterviewsettings and it says i cannot edit the utube view? is this true? i'd like search to always pop up first then i can choose to slide right to most viewed , top of the day etc...


Also.. is there anyone to incorporate Internet download managers http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/

NEAT TINY.. DOWNLOAD VIDEO POP (which will auto save the utube videos\or furthermore ANY WEBSITE STREAMS) ya want to the drive destination ya want(my case files needing to be tagged folder) that they incorporate through out firefox and IE?
basically ya wouldnt need any settings i dont think? ya just link with there plugin and when ever someone on jriver goes to utube in theater view and searches for a vid and hits play,  then it would bring up the internet download manager popup to download the file... and i dont think there would be copyright issues, due to the fact hulu\utube is up and running and they have no issues, nor does internet download manager.

and one last question.. now that network server just totally kicks A$&, is there  away for all the clients to be able to hit refresh while in theaterview? meaning if i add a file to library on server\main end.. is it possible for the clients to just do a shortcut key, or popup that would allow them to refresh the library without having to go back to standard view?

no, not yet unfortunatelly, i dont even have local radio stations setup yet. im just looking for a way to find that music video, or song fast within one simple search\spot on jriver
