KingSparta was kind enough to send Mouseman a drive he wasn't using.

Mouseman, good news.  Glad you got it.

It Was A Yamaha 16X Write CD-R\W Burner (Factory Sealed Package).

It Was To Replace A Burner I Had That Went Bad, And I Went And Bought A Faster One, So I Just Had It Hanging Around

I Curently Have A 24x, And I Guess I Will Need To Replace That Since They Have I Think 30X Drives Out Now.

Is there any real need to replace your 24x one?
I mean I have a 12x one and that can make a cd in 5 minutes.
Instead of forking out cash for an even faster burner, why not use the cash to buy a book on relaxation or better time management Next Page
Life's too stressful already these days. Buying a new burner to save 1 min means your life must be REALLY hectic.

Anyway, having said all that. If you really wanna get the latest burner, I wont say no if you fancy sending one all the way over to england. Next Page
I wish I could get a new one. I'd get the Plex 40x40x12 - the black one.

Only, Ego, And The Need For Speed.

Besides, Besides having about $2,500 Worth Of Work Done To My Home, I Hope Some Day Soon The New Mother Boards Will Be Out And I Will Just Include This In The New Computer, Since This One Is Getting Dated.
