XMRadio-XMRadio-XMRadio Addin-Plugin-whatever...please?!
« on: July 16, 2010, 11:14:56 pm »

Is XM Radio Online...going to work on MC15 or not?

A few people have asked for this since MC13, but seem to be ignored...

Thanks....

..in Windows 7, there is a gadget that can take login info, etc, to listen to XM...in a trial mode.....so I'm sure you guys can add it to what is already a great program....come on Jim!

We've been asking for awhile, and support your upgrade prices.....Thanks!

p.s....the playlists lock idea is a good one also. ;)

I'm sorry, but we don't have plans for XM.  I hope you'll understand that we have to choose our battles carefully.

...well Jim...

choose XM then....it's popular, and if you (won't) do it...maybe someone else out there can come up with one???

If you're going to charge (us) for upgrade after upgrade....then a request for a plugin or addon for a well known music source is not unreasonable.

In addition to the Windows gadget, I am also using http://www.xmtuner.net/ to play XM  online radio from within Media Center. It runs locally as a server, and can generate a "now playing" guide showing what is currently on each channel, along with a "play" link for each; adding this URL to Connected Media works just fine for me.
