I know MC can "rip to a single file with cue rather than separate files". However, I prefer to rip complete albums to separate files, but I would also like MC to create a cue sheet for the album. If it can't be done automatically while I'm ripping, then I would like to be able to do it manually. Is this possible?

And: Is my approach more or less pointless? Would burning a CD by choosing "send to burner" always create the same disc as using a cue sheet would, or could there be differences in gaps, indexes etc? (I confess I haven't done any in-depth testing yet...)

My reason for doing this is my "obsession" with being able to recreate the original CD as accurately as possible. After all, my lossless collection serves as a backup for my CD collection as well, it's not just for everyday music enjoyment.  :)
