MC 15 TV Question
« on: August 04, 2010, 01:11:45 am »

In Microsoft Media Center it can be closed to record TV programs. If I close MC 15 will it still record my Programs? Or does it only work open, thanks.

As long as Media Server is running (in the background) then your scheduled TV Recordings will work fine.

When you say, "Run in the background" do you mean minimize it to your system tray, or sleep your computer?
I rather not sleep my computer. My computer is on all the time & some programs don't run as well when it sleeps.
so what is the best way thanks.

All you have to do is enable Media Server in Options > Startup > Windows startup.

Television recording will then work whether Media Center is open or closed, or if you use system sleep or not (the program will wake the computer out of S3 to do a television recording).
