and had to duck for fear of losing an eye.

Whole new world of 3d amateur pr0n coming our way.  I guarantee it.  (Not that I'm suggesting this will be a good thing.)

There should have been a link to one of the sony 3d tv's in there, too.  That's the device I thought was most interesting...

I don't get 3D.  But I thought color monitors were strange.

I Preferred The Green\Black Screens Over The Yellow\Black Screens.

Go take a look at one of the sony 3d TVs.  it is pretty neat.  But one of the examples is a football game.  In order for the 3d to enhance that you end up with views that are not really helpful to understanding what is happening on the field.  But the crowd shots and field level shots are really nifty.
