I'm running and acer revo with a atom 330 processor on win 7. Great little unit but processor speed lacks. They claim it plays 1080 content fine using cyberlink dvd player. I'm using jriver obviously and I have found that although that filter is a good one, it'll either skip every 20 minutes or the video will move quite quickly in that same time to catch up to the audio.
Microsoft's filters won't even play 1080. I've dabbled with a few others but nothing seems to work flawlessly. Are there any suggestions as to a very good filter with very low load on the cpu that can play 1080 content or do you think there are other settings that could be affecting it?
