Author Topic: MC 15 won't display Theatre View since changing OS to Window 7 Home Premium.  (Read 1795 times)

Hi Team
I get this message when I try to change to theatre view.

Error starting Direct 3D Engine (adapter 0 not capable of windowed mode)

I would Appreciate your assistance to correct this. Thanks  :)

The video hardware can't do 3D.  You could try updating the video driver.

Yeah, that is almost certainly a video card driver issue.  Do you have your video card drivers installed (not the default ones that Windows gives you, but the real ones from the GPU vendor)?  Do you know what kind of video card you have in that system?

Did you try updating the driver? 

Did you try the manufacturer?  We would be happy to assist them.

Sorry.  I missed your reply.  Download GPU-Z here: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1864/TechPowerUp_GPU-Z_v0.4.6.html

Double click on the EXE that you just downloaded.  The program runs directly from that EXE (there is no installer or anything).

When the program opens, tell me what it says in the Name field at the top of the Graphics card tab.

My video card was ancient - replacing it has done trick!!!
