Is it possible to hide headings?
« on: October 25, 2010, 02:19:19 pm »

I am using MC 15, in the left hand column in the main view, it has a number of headings (Audio, Images, Video, Documents etc), is it possible to hide any of these headings.
I am currently only using MC15 for audio, hence the question.

Regards Craig

I too would love to get rid of the default Audio/Video/Image/Data views. However I still want access to audio/video/image/data file types in my custom views. Can someone please tell me if disabling data et. al. support just removes the view or does it also disable support for data et. al. file types? Currently I hack the language file to rename these default views which works well except it makes a mess of the options menu and some features in theater view so I would like to find a "supported" method of removing the default views.

it will delete the choice of data etc fields in autoimport too. i guess when you import an other way it might work.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. Guess I'll just live with my hack. It's ok as long as no one else has to maintain or understand my library structure.

I don't see anything to get rid of the "Performer Store" .... is there a way?

Click on Services in the tree, then on Plug-in Manager at the top.  You can uninstall it there.
