Song ends abruptly

Hi,
I am new here and need some help please. On songs that fade, I have noticed that the last second or so just stops. I don't notice it with cold ending songs. I have the crossfade agressive set to 2's because I really like the radio station sounding overlap. This is why I like the J River Media Center.
Any suggestions on what may be causing the last second or so to be chopped off?

Just wanted to add to my previous post that I went back and listened to songs with cold endings, and they too chop off a second or two at the end.

As a newbie myself - I have played around with this and I hope it's what you are referring to - Try...

Tools, options, audio, stop and seek - change "stop" to fadeout (various options)

Do you have options/audio/track change/"do not play silence (leading and trailing)" enabled?
