Rotating pictures
« on: November 01, 2010, 03:26:35 pm »

I always rotate pictures in the default windows program and thought that re-saved the jpgs or set a meta tag to rotate them.  MC doesn't pick up on this.  What do others do to resolve this?  I clearly want them all rotated upright everywhere, always.

Use Media Center or some other program that correctly updates the EXIF header on rotation.

LOL. Terrific.  Thanks Windows image viewer.  Photoshop would try to re-save the jpg and that would degrade the quality...okay, so use MC to make the change...what a conclusion!
