ok, im not sure what information you guys need for this. I think i have everything set up correctly but none of the shows i set to record actually do. the shows are there in my to be recorded list, but at the start time nothing actually occurs other than the chow changes to "showing" in the list. Live tv works fine.
heres my set up.

latest release of MC
4 HD homerun tuners. latest drivers
win 7 ultimate

will log files help? if so which ones?

Is your tuner showing up in Options > Television?

And I don't know if it applies, but recording is disabled on Library Server clients.

yes all 4 turners show up. and I can watch tv fine, plus schedule shows to record. it just never does it.
no its a stand alone box, not a client.

Does the Television view show that it's planning to record a program?

When it's supposed to be recording, what does the tooltip say when you hover over the recording icon?

Finally, could you copy and paste the status during this time here?  Status is available in the Television view using 'Show status...' under the 'TV Options...' button on the lower left corner.

Yes it appears to be scheduled correctly and it show that it will record. the recording icon never appears. ill paste and image as soon as i get to the system.

Which drive did you set MC to put recordings in?  How much free space is there on that drive?  The only thing I can think of is the space issue.

a local drive 1.5 tb with about 60-100 gb free
