Can't play AVCHD - "DirectShow: Pins cannot connect..."

Fresh install of MC 15.  I cannot play AVCHD files (.m2ts extension) nor quicktime files (.mov).  I can however play wmv, mp4, and avi files.  Error is: 

Media Center encountered errors while trying to play the last several files. Make sure that the path in your library points to the right location.  Error details: DirectShow: Pin cannot connect due to not supporting the same transport. Code=0x80040266.

VLC plays everyting fine on the same machine.  Runing Win 7 32.

I think I've found my home theatre PC solution if I can get this working.

You need some DirectShow filters.  Try installing CCCP.
