TOP's quarterly print offer
« on: February 13, 2011, 07:56:40 pm »

This time around it is Charles Cramer...

http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer/2011/02/winter-print-offer.html

I'm going to pick up the Canyon Reflections print.  I've had both of these up on my monitor all day and the Aspen one continues to look great but the Canyon Reflections one keeps growing on me.  I really want to see it in print.  I don't have enough money to buy both prints.

For anyone (read:virtually everyone) not familiar with the Online Photographer's print offers they are a great way to get images by great photographers for cheap.  He puts a print or two up for sale 4 times a year.  After a few days he closes the orders and then the photographer in question goes on a hellish printing binge.  The photographer gets to do a volume sale and you get a print for less.

Most of the photography I've purchased over the years has been from offers like this.  I'm not sure what it does for the value of a print.  Printing a million of them can't help it.  I haven't had the cash to buy any since a Ctein print offer quite some time ago.

Anywho, I thought I would mention it.

(And, yes, I realize the irony of reporting a bunch of spam right before posting this.)

It's like cholesterol.  There's good spam and bad spam.  Thanks for posting this.

I bought the Canyon Reflections print.  It is going to replace a John Shaw snowscape that I really never need to see again...

It occurs to me that I'm also due to get some Ctein prints soon, too.

I've heard it is really nice.  (Some people have already received theirs.)

I Like It, It Reminds Me Of The Woods At The Edge of Lake Superior Michigan, Where Me And My Dad Were Fishing In About 1968 For Pike, We Caught Like 2 Of Them Both Were About 3 Feet Long.
