Failed To render audio stream - unspecified error

When I use television services from my divco fusionhdtv 7 card, I get video but no audio.  The error message at the bottom of the video is "failed to render audio stream - unspecified error.  This used to work, but I think I did something.  This is been the case in mc 14, 15 and now 16.  Any thoughts as to what stupid thing I may have done.

MC16 is useless without TV
