crash problem wth new pc
« on: March 14, 2011, 10:09:34 am »

Hi,
I have a problem with running MC and hope someone can help me.

I just purchased a new pc + windows7 home premium 64bit and installed MC15.
Playing with M2Tech 24/96 USB to SPDIF converter to a home audio system.
But as soon I start and play music files the the computer either freezes or crashes.
If I start MC15 and close again. It won't start again. It says it is still running.
If I want to reboot the computer won't shut down.

Strange. Nothing else is running on the pc, just MC.
Installing MC16 has the same problems.

Take a look at the Wiki articles called "Audio Output Modes" and "DAC Settings"

The Hi-Face had problems with certain driver versions, so check with the manufacturer.

Your Motherboard got a S/PDIF- out, use that one to connect to the HIFI.
