It's not the same, obviously, but I've had decent enough success with launching Vimeo Couch Mode from a batch file. You can use some rules to display the batch file in an appropriate spot in Theater View, then just launch it with a button press. It's not perfect, but it works. For what it's worth I find launch You Tube Couch Mode in this manner to work better than the currently implemented YouTube via Theater View (since this integrates YouTube account info).
