Missing DragDrop support for explorer folders
« on: June 28, 2011, 06:03:47 am »

Hi there,

I just purchased the MC16 Update. So far everything seems to work fine.

Although I am missing the ability to drag folders from Windows Explorer onto the navigation pane as I used to in previous versions. Now I have to go over the Tools > Import menu which is far more complicated.

Was this intended to be like this or is there any way to turn this back on? If not, will there be a fix for it?

Cheers!

This should work.

But make sure you run Explorer and Media Center at the same privilege level.  If you run one as administrator (i.e. UAC elevation prompt), you won't be able to drag between them.

Could that explain what you're seeing?

Also, when you update MC, although it doesn't ask you to reboot the computer, Explorer integration sometimes gets turned off until you rebbot.
