Database too new??
« on: July 03, 2011, 12:21:00 pm »

I've reinstalled MC 12. After importing the library I get the message my database is from a version newer than MC 12. But I have no other version of MC 12. A few months ago I've tried MC 16, maybe is that the problem. How can I repair my library?

You can't go backward, but maybe there are other backups you have from MC12?

...and if so, You should be able to restore from previous MC 12 backups.

It does not invite to try a second time a new version of MC.  >:(

If I recall correctly, there's no working around this.  You'll have to purchase MC16 (upgrade price), or install on a different machine.  But I don't speak for JRiver.

I think JRiver must report that in the offer for MC16.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding... are you saying that the 30 day trial offer should specifically state that it really means 30 days *and no more* ?

A misunderstanding indeed. The offer should contain the message "install on another PC".
