CoverArt Rebuild
« on: July 16, 2011, 09:54:57 am »

Hi,

I ripped several CD's on my WHS in FLAC format and it stored the cover art as a folder.jpg file in the same folder. My question is, how easy is it to tell MC to go through all my folders and embed the folder.jpg file in the folder into the FLAC files themselves.

I tried the Rebuild thumbnails option to no avail and the tag info under image just says folder.jpg. I can manually add from file but I need to do this for every album which is a pain.

I know I can use the get from internet option but at the moment I am connected via GPRS while I am on holiday (no 3G here) so would rather use the folder.jpg file that I already have rather than download new art.

Thanks,

John

short (from my little head):

1) tick also store coverart in file (options)
2) Move coverart (save covert to xternal..) (tools\coverart)

or maybe try update tags from libarary ?

Hi,

Forgot to mention that I already have the option enabled to save cover art in file. I also have the option to save the cover art in folder.jpg instead of library. Normally I rip from MC and it places the cover art inside the file and creates the folder.jpg for me.

Not sure what the move cover art does..
