Stuttering using Red October HQ [Solved]
« on: July 23, 2011, 07:59:26 am »

I get stuttering (maybe 2-3 stutters a second) when using Red October HQ. I didn't have the problem with 16.0.128.
With 16.0.136 I have to run Red October in normal mode on my HTPC. (Asus GTX550ti + Core2Duo e6600@3ghz+ 4gb ram.)

On my other machine (GTX 480 i7 @3.8ghz) I get no stuttering at all with either 16.0.136 or 16.0.128 in red october hq.
Both machines are win7 64bit, and the only setting that is different between work pc and htpc is that i have refresh rate change set on my htpc (to match source and change tv to 24hz etc).
Any tips please?

Did you try rebooting?

Try setting madVR to Exclusive mode.  That changed to Windowed in this build.
