as an addition to the current Shuffle options, which are track-oriented, I would love to see MC shuffle Albums (i.e. to play a randomly chosen Album after the current Album has finished). Would that be possible in a future build?

it's smartlist syntax (read more here http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Smartlist_and_Search_-_Rules_and_Modifiers)

you can actually enter it almost anywhere, but start with create new smartlist, click import/export and paste the text above into the textbox

Thanks again. I got the smartlist working and it's a good in-between solution.

To me, having a 'Shuffle Albums' menu option, ideally combined with a 'jump to next album' command, would still be better. It would allow playlist-oriented listening, which is what I do most.

you can jump/play (to the) next playlist if that help
