Doing a complete uninstall (including registries) did not help. Upgrading to 16.0.156 did not do it either.
After a couple of hours of testing and experimenting, I did however discover something interesting. I use My Movies to scrape info for all my movies. I export the result to a XML file and import that file into MC as a playlist.
I created a new Library in MC and did an import of this XML file to restore all the movies. After this dynamic refresh rate worked again in 16.0.156. Loading the old library immediately introduced the problem back. I can shift between the two libraries and see the problem come and go. Cloning the old library also clones the problem, so that was no help.
It looks like I may have a corrupted library and that the only solution for me, may be to create all my views and settings in the new library and re-import all the data.
If anybody has another suggestion, I would appreciate input before I start the rather big task of the above.
As a note, I get correct refresh rate change without having any data in the FPS field.
