"Read track failed. Failed to initialize the encoder plugin"

Am getting this error message trying to rip to FLAC. Downloaded software yesterday and have tried a number fo CDs, all of which come up with this same message. Any ideas.

There was a similar post from someone back in March but without a reply so I thought I'd post again.

Try downloading again, from out site.  Please report the build you're using.

It's Jukebox 14, have now also tried new download of MC16 and it does exactly the same.

MC has FLAC built in.  Don't use any downloaded FLAC plug-ins. 

Please report the full version of MC that you use.

have uninstalled both jukebox and MC and re-installed MC (version 16.0.164) and it's still the same.

I can play the disc, and get all the track info, etc, but as soona s I try and rip it comes up with the message in the subject title.

have uninstalled everything again and installed the latest version from the forum as instructed. Still comes up with the same message. Aaaarrrggghhh.

Uninstall all "security" software (antivirus, etc.).

Also, try APE or WAV as a test.  Also, try switching between secure and normal ripping.  Finally, try another drive if you have one.

This isn't a problem we hear about often.
