Make sure you're using the latest MJ 8, and let us know if you encounter any problems.

The plug-in will work for free for 30 days. It's $9.98 to purchase. It can be purchased by right clicking on the screen while slide show is running.

Some of the changes:

- Added a web spider (preliminary)
- Uses about 1/2 as much memory
- Hopefully improved internet cancelling
- Added an optional picture loading timeout
- A few other fixes and changes

Hiya Matt, great work with the plugin.
A few quirks in it like I got a picture of some white dude with a guitar when playing 'Ja Rule'.
Last I knew he wasn't too white. More kinda black lookin Next Page

What exactly is the 'web spider'?
Also, would it be possible to instead of downloading all the images first then going through them (I know this helps with letting the images change fast and smoothly) to have an option to instead download 1, show it, then download 2, 3, 4, 5, etc after at least one had been downloaded.
Preferably moving onto 2 after the appropriate time period and then still downloading in the background but displaying each image after the time out instead of waiting till they were all downloaded.
Your probably on like oc3 so dont notice this but it's a bit of a pain having it say that it has 5 images already and still showing you a black screen.

Also - it'd be nice to be able to disable the status report that covers the image.
A status report is nice but to be honest, I'd rather see the face of whichever babe I'm listening to - on that note, maybe a extra feature would be to link it up to a porn site to get pictures of the artist (would only work with female artists) in the nude!!

Oh yeah, and last thing.
I'd LOVE an option for it to be able to save the images it downloads in a directory with an option to then use the old ones it's downloaded to display or download another 30 and use just these or to add these to the dir and use them too.
If I'm listening to some cute artist and it's pulling up a great picture of her then I want it saved on my hard drive so I can turn it into a wallpaper or something Next Page

Hi Matt,

in this version the Internet pull is working great for me! No hangs on timeout or track switches whatsoever.. Great work!

I've played with the Web spider a bit and it's pretty cool.. I'll have to build up a list of sites where I can point it to..

Looks better and better.. Initially when I heard about it, I was not conviced I was going to buy it.. but now I think I will and that it deserves it's price.

looks like it is working...

could you move the comments "Loading Picture 1 of 16" etc...

that goes across the coverart, and maybe put on the status bar?

We can and will do a lot of things with it. Our biggest worry was stability. Looks like it might be improving.

I wish you guys had Machine Head - Supercharger on your computer to see the images this thing is getting. Found a machine head all right, some kind of blender with a nasty looking blade at the bottom. Pretty cool though.

This gets better by the picture...some kind of brake turning tool. Laughing my a.. off. Love it. May have to get this just for mishmash it gets. Next Page

Screen saver working great ....

Would be nice if there was someway of setting the background color (curently black only),
or to use a gif file or other image file for the background so it would match better with skin in use.

One suggestion: I think the plugin should have an option to pull a new batch of images when the specified max has been reached. So if you specify max 20 images, once the 20 have been displayed a new batch will be pulled if this checkbox is selected in the settings. This does not really matter when you use tags like Artist etc since new images get pulled for every song, but it would make a big difference for custom keywords that may be played over a long playlist. This would avoid the long wait associated with a very high max images

Not sure if it's possible,
but what I'd REALLY like to do with this plugin,
is use it in the track info page itself and have it display images in the space in the track info page in the place where the normal image goes.
I like having all the track info displayed for a song and to be honest find that more important than the images but I'd also love to get both.
Greedy I know and not sure if it's possible but it'd be a nice idea if it is.

Maybe by just having the images downloaded saved into a specific location then I could modify the track info page to just display a fixed address for the image and the plugin would then replace this image according to it's settings and the track info page would show the new image each time it was refreshed or something.

Nice plugin though.
