Simple way to shift image with remote
« on: February 06, 2012, 06:20:35 pm »

First off, awesome work guys on the Theater view updates.  Much needed and very nice.

Now my question. I want to be able to program my remote to send a series of commands that will initiate my screen masking to move and the image from my projector to move.  I am using JRiver to move the image vertically up the screen to eliminate the top black bar on scope movies and can do this manually for movies and of course this "sticks" once done, but with many movies to watch I would like to be able to set a one button command to do this. As the player is set up now, can this be done? Is there a preset that can be accessed, then programmed as a remote command?

Thank you,

I wonder if the "Aspect Ratio" tag might be useful.

The DevZone has more possible help, but I don't know if you can do what you're asking for.
