Denon DLNA problem
« on: June 20, 2012, 10:11:21 pm »

Updated the firmware on my Denon AVR2112 last week.  Now Media Center cannot connect to it.  Shows it in Playing Now, but if you send music there over DLNA Media Center crashes.  Anyone else with this problem?  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Does it crash or just pop up the "can't control..." box?
There is a problem fixed in a upcoming build >=17.0.174 that fixed issues with other Denon boxes...

Both.  First the message, then it locks up.  Look forward to the next build.

That would be a "freeze", not a "crash".  MC is still running but not responsive.

I'm having the same problem playing to my denon receiver 3312. I click on denon on the playing now, then MC starts becoming laggy. I then try to play a song then it will freeze for a moment then have a message pop up saying "there was a problem controlling the selected DLNA device. Double-check your device, server and network settings.

I have no problems using my phone to stream to my denon and I have no problems streaming from mc17 to my phone using it as a dlna device.

Is there a fix coming soon? I bought  this software to stream to my Denon.

It's fixed and it should reach the main release soon. There was an unrelated issue that needs to be addressed first...

17.0.178 is at the top of the MC17 board.
