Locate function on library client
« on: September 11, 2012, 08:53:30 am »

Hi,
I have set up a HTPC with a library server. Then i have my personal working laptop that i use a client of the library server.
When i try to use the "locate' function on the client, it's telling me that the destination doesn't exist. I have been trying to use any way (copy, send, click&slide ) to get the location with no success.

Is there a way, on a library client, to get access to the file in a windows folder?

That will allow me to browse the picture on my laptop and to send or miify the picture with another software.

Thanks for your help.

If you use filenames both machines can see (UNC or mapped drive), you can enable the Media Network client option 'Play local file if one that matches Library Server file is found'.

This should allow 'Locate' commands to work as well.
