So there is nothing parallel to the SACD ISO support ?

When anydvd rips DVD-Audio nothing hi-res is copied over.
This is why dvdaudioextractor is used to get the hi-res audio.

I just noticed that dvdfab rips the entire dvd-audio.
It creates an audio_ts folder that i assume holds the hi-res audio.

As for as i can tell its all useless because the dvdfab rips don't play any differently than the anydvd rips.
ie. no hi-res audio.
i tried with a couple dvd-audio discs on a couple different players.

Am I missing something here?
Is anyone doing anything useful with full dvd-audio rips?

I will try a couple more discs when i have some time.

DVD-Audio Explorer extracts  DVD-Audio files. It uses a reverse engineered algorithm to break the security code. I think it was the first to break the code. It is freeware available from several places including

I used DVD-Audio Explorer until I used a trial of DVD Audio Extractor. DVDAE is so much easier to use, that I just purchased it. I was sucessful iwht DVD-Audio Explorer but you are right in that it does require patience.

I only had a few DVD-A so was fine with the free Explorer program. If I had to do many I would probably spring for the DVD Audio Extractor software.  Explorer was developed for the geek crowd and never developed for general purpose use. I should have pointed that out.
