TV-recordings are set to Media Type = Audio
« on: January 03, 2013, 04:24:38 am »

Some of my TV-recordings are automatically set to Media Type = Audio. I can see that these recordings are tagged with a bitrate of 256 while most of the others are either at 15256 or blank. Also the compression is set to "MPEG-2 Audio" while the correct recordings are tagged "jtv video (video: MPEG-2 Video, audio: MPEG-2 Audio)".

Hope this helps you to get Carnac catch those recordings correctly...

I'm not sure what this might be.  Are you doing audio-only TV recordings?

Are you doing audio-only TV recordings?

No, they are all just regular tv-recordings. However, they seem to be always recorded from the same HD-only channels.

If I manually change the Media Type to Video they show up in my list of recordings and play back just fine, so it's not a major issue, but it would be nice if Carnac could tag them correctly.
