I don't see a forum or thread for "how to use this board" so I'm posting in JRiver Media Center 18 for Windows.

My question is simple: How to find MY OWN unread posts since my last visit. The threads shown in "home" are "recent posts" but does not distinguish posts that I have read or marked read. Many (if not most) forums that I participate in have a mechanism to allow the user to find all posts from many different threads which the user has not marked read. Personally I consider this an essential function to get to the meat of the matter fast.

The email notifications is the closest I have come, but I think this is an inefficient way of dealing with this problem.

I think that this forum had a function called "show unread posts since my last visit". Am I dreaming? That's what I need at least, to get to the meat of the matter, see if there are any replies in the many topics, and get out.

Yes, I know that the email shows new replies, and that in "profile" I can find posts that I originated and manually go to them, but neither of these is at all ergonomic, is it?

I feel like you're right.  I might be mixing it up with other forums, but I'm pretty sure that this used to be available here, but vanished at some point (or moved).  Bob?

I still have both "Show unread posts since last visit" and "Show new replies to your posts."  It's above the home bar for me, right under the "welcome" splash.

Me, too! I'm sorry I missed the obvious. Gotcha...  Maybe you can put this into the Wiki. Or make a thread called "how to use this board". I'm still a newbie and making newbie mistakes.
