Netflix Episode Transitions messed up
« on: March 15, 2013, 10:07:37 am »

Have you guys made any progress on getting support from Netflix?   I know from previous threads it seemed like they were just ignoring you guys,  but it sucks that we still have such limited viewing options all the same :(

My experience has been pretty hit and miss.   I can stream content, but  usually have to search for it, as all of the category views seem to work only when they feel like it (yes I'm in the USA) .. At some point  Recommended will decide to show some stuff, but everything else is hit and miss.

I would much prefer to use MC over my  Blu Ray player, because the device GUI itself is just dirt slow  and videos always start out  looking starved of bitrate..   On the other hand,  it works and the Interface is useable..

The number one thorn in my side right now, are the episode transition screens.   This is the screen that is supposed to show the video in a small window while the credits start playing,  as well as  displaying the title of next episode in a series, along with a description if available.  I thought it was something on my HTPC at first, because I could have sworn I actually saw it render correctly one or two times, but  it also does the same thing on my desktop machine,  having never used Netflix on it until testing it out.

A picture is worth 1,000 words as they say...

If there's any way this can be fixed that would be super.. I've probably got 100 other complaints about Netflix in MC, but just fixing this one issue would go a long way to improving the experience.

I second both of these bugbears.
