Ceton Extenders
« on: May 18, 2013, 11:34:26 am »

I have a couple of CETON Echo WMC extension adaptors running.  They show up in MC Playing Now as an active device, though AFAIK they have no function to contribute.  If you click on one, sometimes it will crash MC.  Not always, though.  It seems to depend on what you've been doing in MC before trying it.  If MC doesn't crash, nothing else happens.

FYI

Try dragging a small video file to one of them.  They may be DLNA Renderers.

Naw it doesn't do anything.  Either ignores or returns a play error.  The Echo extender seems to be completely tied to WMC and can't really do anything by itself like some of the older extenders did.  Maybe I'll dig one of my old ones out and see what it can do from MC.
